Buying a Puppy

All of our puppies are bred with temperament, health, coat, ability, and disposition in mind. We show and hunt all of our dogs and strive to produce all around puppies that will hunt for you all day and be a wonderful family member. 

We accept deposits on each litter after they are born. We will not hold a puppy without a deposit. Deposits are $800, non-refundable and are included with the purchase price. Our puppies come with AKC registration, microchips, health guarantees, and vet checks. Tails are docked appropriately, dewclaws are removed, and puppies receive age-appropriate vaccinations and worming medication.

All of our puppies are raised in our home with our family and are well socialized and loved. In their first weeks of life, they are socialized with children and strangers, other dogs, and introduced to birds. We also start their crate training in their last weeks here at our home so that it is an easier transition. 

Wirehair puppies are not for everyone and can be a handful. This breed is what you put into them. They need a steady schedule, lots of training, socialization and firm boundaries.

These dogs like to test their boundaries and need activities to keep them stimulated and satisfied. They are active and need regular exercise. These dogs can be terrible, kennel dogs and hate to be alone.

If you don't put in the time and attention, you can come home one day, and your couch will be inside out. If you do put in the time, they can be the best dogs ever.

At this time, we are not offering commercial shipping. We have found. It is easier and less stressful to fly puppies as carry ons than as cargo. f you have any questions about this, please ask.
